Center Point’s staff is comprised of full-time business valuation analysts with ASA, finance, and accounting backgrounds. We invest significant time and effort in attending seminars, courses, and certification programs to remain at the cutting edge of our profession. We also invest significant dollars in online databases and library resources to provide the most current and relevant appraisals possible. While these are very important elements to a successful business valuation practice, there is no substitute for experience. Center Point’s President, Greg P. Tesone, has valued several hundred companies in industries such as manufacturing, services, and high-tech, for purposes such as taxation, transactions, and litigation.
Independence
Center Point has an unwavering commitment to independence and objectivity in every appraisal we complete. This is reinforced by our exclusive focus on business valuation services. We do not provide accounting or tax services or accept commission-based transactional work. In fact, Center Point often engages the clients of CPA firms in conflict of interest situations. Center Point and its professionals adhere to the highest valuation industry standards promulgated by the American Society of Appraisers and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.
Integrity
Center Point provides independent, USPAP certified business valuations and stakes its reputation on every valuation report we issue. We recognize clients, buyers, sellers, government agencies, and the courts make important financial decisions based on our valuations. That’s why we stand behind each and every valuation report we provide and why we are available to appear as an expert witness in business valuation matters. To date, none of our reports have been challenged by the IRS or any other party.
